Matrix maker 3.0.2 preferences

The Matrix maker "Preferences" menu allows the user to set certain options having to do with the ways in which text is displayed as either temporary or default preferences. There are separate preference choices for the Title, the Matrix text (the pitch-class numbers and [if specified in the input window of the application] the corresponding letter-names), and Other text (the character string[s]--there is always at least one--that are printed immediately under the title).

Since some users prefer the pitch-class numbers to be displayed in numerical form, while others like to use the letters "t" (for "10") and "e" (for "11"), the Matrix text preference menu presents this as an option. If you choose the alphabetic display of these numbers, you can specify either lower-case ("t","e") or upper ("T","E").

NOTE: Unlike many other Macintosh applications, Matrix maker 3.0.2 allows the user to change the font name, size, and/or style after the document has been created simply by changing the settings in the "Preferences" menu.
